Frequently Asked Questions About MOW on the GO
Begin shaving on the flat of the cheek. Roll the razor gently on the face multiple times in multiple directions. DO NOT PUSH the shaver into your skin. For best results, shave with the shaver daily.
The best results come from shaving everyday with a soft beard. Facial hair longer than a 2 day growth should be trimmed with the trimer blade first before using the rolling head.
All electric shavers cause some irritation. This is normal and usually goes away after 2 or 3 days of use. To minimize any irritation, roll the razor gently without applying pressure.
The shaver comes with a travel lock. Please hold down the on/off button for about 4 seconds and you will feel the travel lock turn off. To engage the travel lock, hold the on/off button for about 4 seconds.
Generally the replaceable head will last about 60 to 90 days of everyday shaving. You can purchase replacements here. (link to the replacement heads)
Foil shavers are generally recommended for daily or near-daily shaving, sensitive skin, finer/shorter stubble, and for precision work (like sideburns). They are used with a straight, back-and-forth motion.
Rotary shavers are often preferred for shaving every few days (longer stubble), coarse or thick hair, hair that grows in different directions, and for easily following the contours of the neck and jawline. They use a circular motion
While modern electric shavers can get very close, a manual blade generally shaves slightly closer (below the skin's surface).
The MOW Shaver has an additional trimmer head that comes with the razor for trimming beards, sideburns and longer hair prior to using the rolling head.
MOW on the Go works best on dry skin. But you can use an after shave gel or oil post shave to calm the skin
You can expect the razor to charge full in 1 hour and the charge will last about 45 minutes of shaving.
